There’s nothing more festive than holiday lights wrapped around trees. Enjoy a seaside stroll under the holiday lights throughout the 10-acre Burton Chace Park in Marina del Rey.
The spectacular display of sparkling lights will take place every night from 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm, December 11 through December 31.
‘Tis The Season…
At this time of year, please consider showing your appreciation for those who work to keep our community the beautiful safe place it is.
Angel Solis and Jose Gomez maintain our malls, mini-malls and the triangle. Their dedication to keeping the landscaped areas beautiful is evident. They will very much appreciate gifts from homeowners. You can find them on the malls Monday through Fridays. On Tuesday you can find them mowing each mall; just follow your ears.
Our security patrol officers have the task of keeping our community safe and secure. Their duties include interdicting strangers, at considerable risk, because the unknown response to their efforts. Please consider gifts, either to those with whom you have had contact, or more of them. Just place your gift in an envelope with your name(s) and Silver Strand address, and then flag down the officer.
Here are the patrol officer’s names and schedules:

Eddie – Monday through Thursday from 7.00 am to 3:00 pm
Andy – Friday through Sunday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
Dora – Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Jon – Friday through Sunday from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Raymond – Saturday through Wednesday from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
Bric – Thursday and Friday from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
For gifts for those patrol officers who you do not see in our neighborhood, you may call the supervisor Sam at 310-628-3674, who will arrange to pick up your gifts for them.
